This European style Christmas market has become one of Toronto’s favourite places to celebrate Christmas traditions with lots of opportunities to take interesting pictures while learning about the different settings on your camera. This class is geared to beginner photographers. You will get tips on composition, lighting and exposure while photographing the Distillery District’s picturesque Victoria era cobblestone streets and post and beam architecture.

Our onsite hands-on photography tours allow you to apply your photography skills by shooting the beautiful surroundings of the Distillery District’s Christmas Market. There are many opportunities to practice your photography skills whether it be at the giant Christmas tree, ferris wheel, colourful merry go round or at the unique handcrafted offerings of the outdoor vendors. Just bring your camera. No photography experience is necessary.

Whether you own a Nikon, Canon, Sony, Olympus or other camera that you don’t know how to use – come out to the Toronto Christmas Market Photography Class and learn some camera basics. Many owners of digital or mirrorless cameras take pictures in Auto Mode because they have never understood how to use the different buttons and settings on their camera. Toronto Photo Safari will show you how to use the other program modes on your digital or mirrorless cameras so you will be able to confidently take that picture. You will also learn about the Exposure Triangle, Shutter Priority, ISO and Aperture. This is a no stress class geared to beginner photographers who want to have a better understanding of their camera capabilities while learning to take better pictures. All types of digital camera brands are welcome.
